Welche Schuhe empfehlt ihr?
Zum Lindy Hop tanzen empfehlen wir Dir flache, bequeme, tendenziell Turnschuh- oder Sneaker-artige Schuhe. Wichtig ist aber auch, dass Du darauf drehen kannst, das heisst, dass die Sohle nicht zu gute Bodenhaftung hat. Am idealsten sind sogenannte Chromledersohlen (das ist eine Art resistentes Wildleder).
Wenn Du längerfristig und intensiver Lindy Hop tanzen möchtest, empfehlen wir Dir sehr Dir ein paar Tanzschuhe anzuschaffen oder bequeme Sneakers zu kaufen und mit Chromleder besohlen zu lassen.
Uns ist auch klar, dass Du für Schnupperstunden und erste Lektionen noch keine extra Schuhe kaufen wirst, sollst und musst. Da tun es bequeme, saubere, flache Strassenschuhe mit eher rutschiger Sohle wunderbar.

What shoes should I wear?
We recommend you are wearing flat, comfortable, sneaker-like shoes. It is not only important the shoes don't hurt you, but also that you can turn in them, this means they shouldn't have a lot of grip on the floor. Ideally your shoes have a chrome-leather-sole (it's a type of resistant suede).
If you are into Lindy Hop for a while and dancing regularly, we highly recommend you get a pair of dancing shoes or buy some sneakers and have them resoled with chrome leather.
We totally get it that you won't and shouldn't have to buy special shoes for a Taster Class or your first Lindy Hop lessons. For this we recommend comfortable, flat and clean street shoes with a sole that is a bit slippery.

Was soll ich zum Unterricht anziehen?
Was immer Du möchtest.
Beachte jedoch, dass Du beim Lindy Hop tanzen schwitzen könntest. Ok, dass die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass du schwitzen wirst extrem hoch ist.
Das heisst, dass es gut wäre etwas zum wechseln mitzubringen. Je nach dem vor der Klasse (vor allem wenn Du direkt von der Arbeit kommst), wenn Du stark schwitzt während der Klasse oder auch bevor Du nach Hause gehst.
Deo und duschen empfehlen sich selbstverständlich auch.
Abgesehen davon, zieh Dich so an, dass Du Dir gefällst und dass Du Dich bewegen kannst.

How should I dress for classes?
However you like.
But please consider there is a chance you might sweat a bit when dancing Lindy Hop. Ok, the likelihood is extremly high that you are going to sweat.
This means it'd be wise to bring some clothes to change. Before the class starts (especially if you are coming directly from work), if you sweat a lot maybe change your shirt during class or before you go home.
Taking a shower and using deodorant are recommended as well.
Apart from that, wear things that make you feel pretty and comfortable to move.

Du findest uns an der Hallwylstr. 26, 8004 Zürich, das ist 3 min zu Fuss vom Stauffacher entfernt. Zwischen dem Restaurant 'Simply Soup' und dem Coiffeur hat es einen Durchgang in den Innenhof. Da läufst du durch und hinter der roten Tür, die du siehst, im Untergeschoss, da findest du uns.

Where can I find Tanzwolke?
You will find us at Hallwylstr. 26, 8004 Zurich that is a 3 minutes' walk away from Stauffacher. Between the restaurant 'Simply Soup' and the hairdresser there is a wide doorway to the patio where you are walking towards a red door. Behind that door in the basement, that's where you find us.
